Reserve Pinot Noir

An elegantly bold and complex pinot noir. Aromas of red cherry, blueberry and a hint of violet. Classic pinot flavours of cherry, cranberry, mulberry and forest floor earthiness lead to a long lingering finish. Beautifully integrated oak and velvet smooth tannins.

It is a dense, brooding wine with aromas of dark fruit. On the palate, there are flavours of black olives, plums and spice. The finish lingers.

The nose shows dark cherry, plum, sage, wood spice, mocha, and graphite. Medium-full bodied, the palate has a creamy yet refreshing texture with well integrated and very fine tannins and a delightful freshness persisting on the finish. Pair this delicious Pinot Noir with roasted duck, mushroom risotto, or pork tenderloin.

Maybe it’s just all this hot weather, but pinot noir has been getting a lot of play around here. Noble Ridge makes a number of great wines (including a
great sparkler) but this pinot has got it going on. Deeper cherry fruits with clean vegetable leaf and a touch of earthy, resinous complexity, but in the mouth bright and silky textures with mid weight tannins and zippy acids make for a versatile star on the deck or patio.

Lovely fruit, focused acidity and refined but present tannins. Structural elements are well integrated with a long, balanced finish.

This is a dark and muscular Pinot Noir that was aged 14 months in French oak (20% new). It has aromas and flavours of plum and cherry with a toasty note on the finish. Decant this wine.
